There is no place for us to even walk nor is there fresh air to breathe. These days I avoid going outside my society as the main roads are choked with traffic, people honking madly, there is congestion due to heavy digging that has been going on for 2 years (I am not kidding) particulate matter is everywhere. My house is nowadays dustier that i have ever known, our doctors bills are increasing. Lets join hands together and participate in the process of governance, stop illegal construction, open and green spaces are the need of the hour. I have lived in the city for the past 25 years and I can really see it changing. There is no place for us to even walk nor is there fresh air to breathe. These days I avoid going outside my society as the main roads are choked with traffic, people honking madly, there is congestion due to heavy digging that has been going on for 2 years (I am not kidding) particulate matter is everywhere. We just Need to take small efforts which will later be set in our lifestyle(so no efforts later) to reverse this damage. Walk + Cycle +Use the Bus more. Have a Carbon Neutral Lifestyle. Stay Organic because it is cool! and celebrates Nature. Cool.

Keep it up. We need to act past to save Pune environment which degrading day by day. The authorities was not ready for sudden economical & industrial expansion & revolution in the city. Every planning goes wrong. The main reason the people opting for the private vehicle is the lack & poor public transport system. Pune needs good public transport & more stricter rules on use of private vehicle. Need to put tax if any body purchases more than one vehicle. And there are many ways to control this.
